We are not sure how Shadow got out of the backyard, but my husband was mowing the yard when he realized Shadow was gone. We immediately began searching the area. Ten minutes later my husband receives a call from PETtrac, a Good Samaritan was holding Shadow. Shadow was still in our neighborhood and was safe! Shadow recently had surgery and was wearing a soft fabric "cone". I was worried he would not see any cars if he crossed the street. I was impressed how quickly PETtrac notified us. Thankfully, the Good Samaritan was a veterinarian who was familiar with the AVID microchip. We are so grateful for PETtrac and recommend the AVID microchip for your dog!
